The Orthopaedic unit is well equipped with all modern diagnostic and ambulatory orthopaedic services and also provides a one stop carpal tunnel diagnostic and treatment service. The department is led by Mr Al-Sabti.

Orthopaedic consultations

The orthopaedic team at Westland Medical Centre are dedicated to providing the highest possible personalised care providing both reassurance and support related to your orthopaedic needs. Every effort is made to ensure you feel comfortable whilst undergoing your consultation and a chaperone is provided at all our consultations.

Our orthopaedic consulting room is equipped with the latest scanning equipment and computerised records system.

Should in-patient surgery be required then your consultant will arrange this for you at one of the local private or NHS hospitals as a private paying patient.

Day case procedures under local anaesthetic can be carried out in our modern and well equipped state of art theatre.

Mr Ali Al-Sabti

M.B.B.Ch F.R.C.S.

Mr Al-Sabti completed his medical training in Cairo and attained his FRCS from Edinburgh in 1983. He went on to complete his post graduate training in London in 1987 and became an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Harold Wood Hospital and Oldchurch Hospital.
